When you are going to be purchasing a home, you want to make sure that your mortgage is going to be affordable but that you are still buying a home that will serve you and your family well. You also want to consider how much work you have to put into a home and how much the regular utilities will cost. You may do well purchasing a home that needs some work if you can save a good amount on the price of the home and do some of the work yourself.
